“IF IT WAS JUST ME AND A TAMBOURINE,
IT WOULD STILL BE THE FALL”
– Mark E. Smith

We of the Free City of Leslieville were unable to make it to last week’s launch of the new Spacing issue (held, as ever, at the Gladstone). I later bought the ish myself and found it seriously disappointing. Nonetheless, for completeness, I added up references to neighbourhoods, as I have done before (1, 2).

  • No specific neighbourhood or several: 23 (heavily influenced by election coverage)
  • North: 0
  • Downtown: 3
  • Suburbs: 1
  • West: 5
  • East: 4
  • Not applicable (book reviews, news from London, etc.): 10

Curiously, the column on Web sites that spent so much time listing links to sites from other countries has been dropped.

The foregoing posting appeared on Joe Clark’s personal Weblog on 2006.10.05 14:27. This presentation was designed for printing and omits components that make sense only onscreen. (If you are seeing this on a screen, then the page stylesheet was not loaded or not loaded properly.) The permanent link is:
