“IF IT WAS JUST ME AND A TAMBOURINE,
IT WOULD STILL BE THE FALL”
– Mark E. Smith

Homosexualist Sithifrican creators of the puppets in War Horse: “As gay people, we understand prejudice and, as South Africans, we understand prejudice…. We know what it feels like to be treated as less than what you are and that has helped us understand the animals we’ve created for this show.”

I have never been more interested in a story than I am in War Horse, which came out nearly 30 years ago and which I found out about only last month. I am listening to the reasonably good audiobook reading.
