Car Mode (should be Driving Mode), an iOS setting to actively prevent you from texting while driving. From whom? From some Italian-American kid who started out really thumbing his noses at the judges of the AIGA Command X competition, Joey Cofone.

(This year’s competition was charmlessly hosted by Italian national Matteo Bologna, whose crashing ineptitude and basic dysfluency in English earn him the sobriquet Matty Baloney. Michael Bierut, we hardly knew ye. Nomination for next year: Somebody who rejects professional-association membership and competitions, Patric[k] King.)
