Designer–typographer–House Industries cofounder–hepcat Rich Roat, who died “unexpectedly” on November 29, did not die “suddenly,” i.e., he did not kill himself.
(It took ages to drag that fact out of someone who claims to know. The two terms quoted above mean different things, yet both were used in press coverage.)
