Venezuelan-American Mauricio A. Rodriguez has a unique skill in assembling half-nude collages that escape the leghold trap of grotesquerie.

Collage of photos seems to highlight a hand on a jockstrapped arse

Like so many photo-illustration styles, it looks easy to put together. Give that a shot sometime.

Perhaps even more unexpected are Rodriguez’s self-dissimilar collages:

Bright teal sky and sea with a collage of the same bearded man in mirrorized shades
Dark-tinged man overlaps shadow of much larger light-tinged man
