Dōgen and Ruben Adery have two distinct yet highy credi(ta)ble approaches to teaching pronunciation of foreign languages to anglos. Ruben is particularly adept at explaining English phonology to Brazilians who are otherwise completely unable even to hear it, let alone reproduce it.
