How much quality news time has been lost over the past five years to endless requests for viewer comment and feedback? I get the sense that years of proper broadcast journalism have been lost by appeals to “send in your views” and “tell us what you think.” I don’t really care what other viewers think. I just want to hear what the correspondent on the ground has to say.
