The car’s driver was standing unharmed on the sidewalk. A left-rear passenger was pinned inside, but, based on my checking through the opened right-rear door, was completely uninjured and merely bored and cold.

The former derelict site has been transformed into a conventional block of faux-Victorian tæunhæumes, with unusually smart detailing and a coat-of-many-colours brick selection.
